Unfortunately some things do not pass our Quality Control (QC) and are typically rejected for release. However, to reduce waste we will release blemished products that do not hinder or interfere with the functionality or wearability of the strap in any way, at a discounted rate.

Power settings at full scale in comparison to prototype scale rendered darker shading along some areas of the straps. The darkened areas over shadowed details of the map that we deemed unsatisfactory. The error does not affect the functionality of the watch strap and are purely cosmetic as shown in the pictures. 

THE HELMET FIRE 

Made of American Bison leather. A helmet fire is a term we in the business use to describe the feeling of being incredibly behind the plane (generally as a student)! Every flight student has experienced this feeling and eventually learns to persevere through. This material for this strap super special. It’s incredibly tough but very soft and comfortable instantly from wear one. We picked this name and matched it with this material purposely to honor the tenacity and resiliency students have to have in order to overcome the feeling of a helmet fire.

Nearly every Naval aviator in the world will recognize the strap design. For those that do not know, every strap captures a piece of the instrument flight rules (IFR) low chart covering Pensacola terminal radar approach control (TRACON) area which is where the vast majority of naval aviators begin their training. Bonding not only them in their origins, but also in your timepieces allure.

The MC1

Our flagship strap design intended to be single pass with an adjustable second keeper. For further fitment quality the tail can be trimmed and maintain an original appearance.   

American Bison "Shrunken Bison"

Bison is a semi soft leather that has a natural textured outer finish and a nappy flesh interior that aids in grabbing the wears wrist. Lastly, it has a slight elasticity in comparison to other harder leathers that stretch over time.
