Grey Roughout Cowboy MC1

Our MC1 strap is designed to be single pass with an adjustable second keeper. To enhance the fit quality the tail can be trimmed and maintain an original appearance. 

Rough out (or reverse) refers to the utilization of the often unfinished flesh side of the hide. The flesh side of the hide offers a unique texturing effect as the patina sets in, similar to velvet or suede. We loved everything about this strap which lead us to included it with the Guild Timepieces x Grey Area Co. Obscura watch project.   

La Bretagna Cowboy leather is an amazing leather with aggressive pull that contributes to that worn in patina instantly. It is firm yet soft to the wearer with a very mild stretch making it a great middle ground between Newbury buffalo and Wickett & Craig.

 We recommend gradually tightening the strap over the first 1-2 weeks while the strap forms to the watch. This will prolong the life of your spring bars as well as aid in the overall fit of the strap.
