In January 2026 the Doomsday Clock was set at 85 seconds to midnight, the closest in its history. Meaning; humanity is the closest it has ever been to manmade global destruction. This strap is our memento mori. It is a reminder that time is finite, judgment and awareness are paramount, and that every decision carries consequence. Worn as a subtle reminder your time is not up however, always uncertain.

Our MC1 strap is intended to be single pass with an adjustable second keeper. For enhanced fit quality the tail can be trimmed and maintain an original appearance. 

Wickett & Craig's English Bridle leather is the most popular leather of the tannery. It is full grain, vegetable tanned and drum dyed with wax for a robust finish. It is a softer in comparison to traditional harness with a similar glossy finish and a smooth gum dyed backside.  

We recommend gradually tightening the strap over the first 1-2 weeks while the strap forms to the watch. This will prolong the life of your spring bars as well as aid in the overall fit of the strap.
